"Pondering Moments"

A childhood memory~
Waning years subside during a moment
of past triumph
Days sprung forward during thoughts of a
baring child's early retreat
Sitting with friends along a prairie shoreline
at summer's rest
Unwinding life's hold on freedom of attachment
Thrown in different directions of wishing, wanting
and wondering the possibilities of success
Nearby trees and rock bridges guide us to our
coexisting sanctuary
And life has just cast a treasured gem to lure prospects
into the wisdom of a living conscience
Morning has welcomed the chosen few who will
remember life's most promising adventure
